Ok - I had to wait until lunch/plan to find out anything

Surgery is over, and Bentley is awake! He is doing good! The vet said it was an adhesion. I don't know much more than that. I do know that it was fixed and I can go see him today after school. I am going to ask all of the questions then. I am so thankful that everything went well, but will feel better when I know more (and when I get to bring him home in the next few days!)!

Thank you for all of your wonderful thoughts and prayers! Keep Bentley in your prayers! I can't wait for him to be heeling at home in my arms!

You guys are the best!

I am so happy and relieved for Bentley and you! That is great news!

Looking forward to hearing that he is home with you, and will be interested to hear about of the adhesion and what caused it.

Thanks! I've been reading on it and it says they form (usually) from scare tissue. He did have a hernia fixed about 4-5 years ago. I don't know if that would have anything to do with it or not. The vet wanted me to know that I couldn't take him today! He knows how I feel about leaving my babies. I'd much rather monitor myself, but I know he is in good hands!

Wonderful news and I think it probably turned out to be a lesser problem than either a blockage or twisting. Hopefully that is the case.

He can't come home tonight, I am however, going to beg for tomorrow! I don't like leaving them over the weekend.

Just had my 15 min visitation at the hospital. He got up and was wagging his tail. I love that baby so much! Vet was out on call. Gotta call tomorrow When They open at 8 to see when they'll release. I miss that little Guy already!
