| Okay, thank you. I will get bloodwork done tomorrow then so that I can at least start school with a little more clarity on what might be wrong with him (if there is anything).

| Sorry, a little off topic but I have one more question...since yorkies are prone to pancreatitis would it be overkill to feed royal canin GASTROINTESTINAL LOW FAT food as a precaution?

| That's an rx diet, so yes. It's not overkill to feed a low fat food though and use only low fat treats and chews.

| Teddy! What are you doing worrying your mommy like this? I hope whatever you ate wasn't a big deal. Maybe a crunchy bug? Eww, I know, but harmless, maybe. Hope you feel all better and that you stay out of trouble. (Max said I shouldn't make such a big deal out of his naughty leaf-eating habit after reading this thread about other doggies' eating antics)

| Hi everyone, just wanted to update that thus far Teddy is doing well. He went in the morning like he usually does, and has been eating his food/drinking water without any problems. I wasn't able to make it to the vet today (apparently my vet was doing surgery and they couldn't fit me in) so I scheduled to go on Friday for bloodwork...and sooner of course if he shows any symptoms of blockage. Thank you everyone for your help/support as usual ![]() Teddy is turning 1 in exactly 17 days. Hopefully we can have a nice celebration in perfect health.
