Awww, poor Jersey! We'll definitely get him taken care of. Just let me know which print you want and his Kiss-e will be on its way asap! Give him big kiss-es and gentle hugs.

Is that a bot fly larvae? Glad you got it out today, I thought waiting until Monday was a little crazy. Hope the recovery goes well.

ugh. How nasty

So glad you discovered it to begin with. Makes me want to make hubby check Tuffy over twice as good as he does now when they come back from walks.
Really hope Jersey heals quickly.

I am so glad he home and is doing well. Those things are really nasty. I just hate that they have to have such a big area cut open, but they have to do that to make sure they get it all.
Prayers that it all heals well really fast.

Soooo thrilled he's on the road to recovery!!! You're such a wonderful mommy!!!!! Maybe Bri will let Jersey borrow her softee collar until his comes :p So glad that thing is outta him!!!!!!

Ok, this has me convinced that I need Bo to make one for me too. You never know when you need one. I was going to get one during a different thread. Well you know out of site out of mind. But I live in the country and this could happen to us. So.....Bo do I send you a PM or do you have a website?

Jersey slept all night:) I was so happy that he wasn't in any pain. The drain seems to be working too. He woke up and drank a lot of water more than I have ever seen him dink before. He didn't want to go out because it's raining. The rain slowed so I carried him out (he will not use a pad) and he relieved himself, he hasn't pooped yet. Hoping there is a break in the rain. He had some pain medicine and is resting now, I feel so bad for my baby boy

She is so much better! Thank you for asking! :) We are running around chasing Mikki as we speak!! Great improvement from yesterday. I really think she had a reaction from the shot!

Oh yuck that is so gross. I have seen squirrels in my yard with a huge abcess, maybe that is the same thing? Paris sends doggy hugs! Speedy recovery.

I'm so glad Jersey is doing better. How big was the bump? Was it soft, hard? Princess doesn't go in the yard that often & never for that long but I have seen a ton of rabbits this year out there.:eek:

Me too! I just told my husband to get rid of everyone of them. :eek::eek: Lol. We have Beagles. They will chase them away. :D

I'm in a complex that is huge, over 400 units, and every where we walk around here at night or early a.m. those dang things are out. And they are HUGE, too! Princess is 8 pounds & I bet they rival her in size.:eek: Funny thing is, Princess NEVER sees them! LOL, they must have a great disguise for her.:rolleyes:;)

I just keep thinking about that bump on her back that appeared out of no where...:confused::eek:

Wow, I don't think ours are that big! Lol. If my Beagle sees one she will chase it all over the place. They usually run away thank goodness. You are lucky Princess doesn't chase them.

I was reading about them and they can get them from rubbing a piece of grass. It is that easy. Then it said they get on the dog and then get in the skin. :eek: But it sounds easy to pick up for dogs and humans! :eek::eek::eek: I was pretty grossed out from the reading.

The vet said it's "just a bump" but this thread is making me over think things, I think.:p Karen should post that bubble we talked about before again, then we can both go out in it!;):cool:

Thank you. It was weird because it looked like a bite that was infected at first. He was on antibiotic for 7 days. It wasn't getting better it looked like a big mosquito bite with a pin hole in it. It was soft
