Yeah, I was just wondering if it was purposeful, Steve puts a lot of thought into him pets' names.

Just saw this....bless her heart. So happy to see Maxine is still with us and improving! I know she is older, but we know....we never want to lose them...it's to dang hard. Just thanked the good Lord and prayers for many more days.

She came home, demanded food, ate, and is now in her bed in the Kitchen taking a nap. Old Carlo is laying 2 feet away from her snoring up a storm. She seems to be doing well. really scary last night.

I am just seeing this now. That had to be terrifying last evening! So glad to hear she is home and eating. We'll be keeping her and her recovery in our prayers.

My heart sank when I read your initial post last night. Maxine has such a wonderful life, and she has much to live for. I worried each year that Ashley had a birthday when she got older, and then they really became such a cause for celebration when she reached her teens. We had some more really special years with Ashley when she was in her teens. Maxine is still a youngster in my eyes, and there is so much living for her yet to do. I'm counting on Carlo and Maxine being around to help guide their younger brothers. Take care of that special family of yours, and may you have much happiness, health, and laughter with them.

Steve, I'm just now reading about the scare Maxine gave y'all last night. My heart sank when I read the title, especially when you described her symptoms. I don't know if David or I could keep it together as well as you and Marge did, getting her to the hospital and not falling apart! I'm SO happy that your little girl is doing so great, and hope and pray that it stays that way for a long, long time. Carlo needs his "sis" around to help with the youngsters, lol!
