| We used drops in Kayla's eyes. It is scary. I thought I got water in her eye when I was bathing her. Soooo, I blow dryed her and rushed her to the vet. Turns out it was an ulcer. Probably one of the others scaratched her eye when they were playing. I bought an extra bottle of drops to just have on hand. It does scare you when it comes to their sight. |

| That is scary! Glad to hear he will make a full recovery. Yeah I'm curious too, what causes it? Is it something foreign in the eye and makes the hole? I found a piece of peanut skin in Uni's eye a few days ago and I was freaking out. She was a good girl and sat nice while I used a tissue to get it out. It almost rolled to the back of her eyeball. I don't think the peanuts were salted (I didn't eat them so I don't know) and she didn't seem to notice it was there, but boy did it look scary! This red/brown film over her eye.

| My Vet said just about anything could cause it like him running through the weeds to anything. My husband does alot of work in the back yard where he is chisleling rocks and chachi is with him and he thought that could cause it but it could even be from chachi and jewels playing and a nail hit his eye

| Poor Chachi! I'm just seeing your thread now. You must have been scared seeing the white cloudiness. I'm glad he has medications and is on the road to recovery. If you aren't already, you may want to keep a cone on his head to prevent him from pawing at his eye because of pain or itchiness. Any tiny foreign object, including hair, can cause corneal abrasions and ulcers. Chemical burns, such as shampoo, and inflammation of any part of the eye can also cause corneal problems. Sending lots of hugs and wishes for a speedy recovery from me and the Maxman.

| So glad he is going to be ok. I had a litle Pomeranian that got poked in the eye by a thorn. Her eye turned white. The vet did the same thing with the dye. Her meds cleared hers up completely.....Sending prayers it will be well SOON...Hugs, Wanda |
