| ![]() Peanut went to the vet this am. He is going to be fine. He had a skin scraping, NO DEMODEX!!!! YAY.. He has an allergy to fleas so badly. He had 1 dead flea on him. I use the Advantage 2. But, now I have to do the capstar 1 time a week. He is not large enough for the comfortis. He would have to weigh 5 pounds. He is 4 pounds and both the vet and I are not comfortable with giving the comfortis to him. His allergy is so severe to the fleas it is like a human being allergic to peanuts!!! He should not even be around them. I guess the yard needs to be sprayed more fequently??!!!! YAY. I hate the heat and yard work this time of year. Anyway, he will have to bathed in a specific shampoo, can't remember the name and it is in the bathroom ![]() ![]() I told the Dr. abou tthe other dog that I am babysitting and he needs to be seen and treated the same as well. He told me to just do the same for Tink, although she is not allergic, but, Peanut is and I have to keep him safe. whew!!!!

| ![]() It was a long name and began with an "L". I thought that is what he meant. I was so shocked, I didn't ask ![]()

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() I am glad they found out what was causing his allergy. I had a yorkie back in the 70's before all the flea preventative's and he was very allergic to flea bites. I am glad they have so many products now to make them more comfortable.
