Rosie not feeling good We have had so much going on since the arrival of Mikki. Rosie's world has been turned upside down I am sure! This afternoon Rosie has been having a little diarrhea (3 times since this afternoon). No blood or anything just loose stool. She also spit up twice. She was acting a little depressed this morning. I talked to the vet assistant and she thought it could be "stress". She is eating, drinking, and even played with me a few minutes ago. We ran through the house. Any ideas on the tummy issues? Mikki's stool is fine and no spitting up. So, I don't think Rosie would have "caught anything" from her. Plus she is up to date on her shots. I don't know ... I am at a loss. Any ideas? What can I do for the loose stools? |
Hi there, as per giving advice on how to fix diarreah I really can't help you there...just wanted to let you know that I'll keep Rosie in my thoughts and I hope that her tummy feels better soon. |
Poor Rosie. It just seems logical that it's from the events in the past 24 hours. I don't know how to help but I hope her tummy feels better soon. |

Thanks! Adding the new dog has put a lot on my baby. :( I hate seeing her down. I hope in a few days we see a turn around. |

Thanks so much. I know. She has been through a whirlwind! On a better note, Mikki is sewing her oats now. She is way more comfortable than she was! Lol. |
Wasn't she sick a couple weeks ago? I'm sure it's nothing too crazy (i.e. parvo, distemper), but if the diarrhea continues, she will have to go in immediately. Not really sure what to suggest since she is already on an rx diet, right? Does the vet have you keep meds on hand for flare ups? |

Yes she was. And it was tummy issues. :(:(:( I will for sure take her in if it keeps up. I have a front row parking space at my vet and at the ER. Lol. Yes she is on I/D. But I am feeding her can only now. I did give her some chicken last night. It was boiled with no spices. I did that because she would not eat after Mikki came into our life. I was worried and knew she loved chicken. I do not have any meds at all. Is there something I should ask for? |
I sure hope she feels better soon. |
You could try giving her a teaspoon of plain, canned pumpkin. It's not from Mikki... that would take a few days to start showing up.... |
