| Thanks and the collar I bought has been GREAT!!! It has come in so handy within the hour we got home. I cant imagine him having a hard cone on his head this entire time, I love that he has this soft cone to lay on. So glad I found this before his surgery!!! PS he is doing well he has been up and walking when I take him out to pee (but not too much just for his potty breaks) he is resting well. He gets freaked out when people come into house to I have to watch his excitement level then. He is staying in his crate really well, which I was worried about. We will see how long this last!

| My thoughts and prayers are with you and your little one. Hope he has a speedy recovery. What grade luxating patella did he have? My little maltese has a grade 3 in one and a grade 1 in the other. We didn't know it until she stumbled in the yard and started walking with her leg up. I took her to the vet and he put her on meds and after a week she was walking fine. My vet says no need to fix the grade 1 and as long as the grade 3 is not bothering her and I get her checked yearly to make sure the leg is straight (earlier if she starts showing symptoms) that he would recommend leaving it alone. |
