Blood in the stool is not something to take lightly in my opinion. This happened to me about 2 years ago with Rosie. It started out with diarrhea, then blood in the stool, then vomiting. It went from bad to worse. The blood was literally pouring out of her bottom by the time I got to the vet. I really thought I was going to lose her. Now, if I see blood I head to the ER. Not to scare you, but please get this baby to the ER. I understand about the money. I have had to use my credit card more than once. Many places offer credit care (I think that is the name of it) to help. Please find out and keep us posted. |

For the moment, it really does seem like he had some irritation as he passed something he shouldn't have eaten. I hope the results shed some light on this fiasco. Thank you for the concern :) |
Hill's Science Diet is not a bad food. |

Did they give you I/D? Rosie has tummy issues all the time and that is what they recommend for her. I will let you know that I tried taking her off of it and we had tummy issues again. You might want to watch closely when you go back to the Natural Balance. |

Did you mention the itching and allergies to the vet? There may be a better option for him. |
