| Ant bites I was watching Sakura run around in the backyard when she started biting at herself. She had sat in an ant pile. She has done this before and that time I had rushed to the vet. She had bites all on her face and front paws then they got swollen . The vet gave her a shot of benadryl and told me if this happened again to give her infants benadryl. Well right after she sat in ants today I ran her inside to and poured cold water over her to get the ants off and cool her bites. It wasn't as bad as the first time. She only has a few bites but I went to 3 different stores looking for infants benadryl. Wallgreens, Riteaid, and Walmart. Ugh! Couldn't find any. The employees were of no help what so ever. I don't think the bites she got tonight are bothering her too much. Her ear is keeping her scratching it and not the bites. We have already been to the vet once this week for it with it's minor yeast infection. It seems everything must happen at once or not at all. So now what does everyone use on their babies when they get bit? And where did they buy it? |
