| Yorkie Mommy worried okay so my boyfriend's mom recently just lost her jack russel to parvo. my boyfriend was really upset. we went there about a week after they buried her. i didnt go inside the house, gremlin was in the car with me waiting but my boyfriend did. i lysoled everything shoes, car, seats everything. but i just keep on worrying. gremlin hasnt had his 2nd part of his vaccines and he's only a puppy. the woman who put the my boyfriend mom's dog down went home to her house and accidentally carried parvo to her house which killed her dogs. so now im a paranoid freak. gremlin seems fine. but im just really worried. tell me something to make me feel better.

| I would call the vet since he is still a puppy and hasn't had all his shots.

Lysol will not kill it, only bleach and it can be on anything. Noah is my 1 pound little boy, now 11 weeks old. He had parvo and we didn't know it- never showed any signs. I took him to the vet for vaccines 2 wks ago and he went hypo, had seizures and when they tested him, came back positive for parvo. He spent 11 days in the vet hospital on IV fluids, 3 antibiotics, numerous other medications and even went septic and had a blood transfusion, all so we could save him. Total cost??? $7300.00. Yes, it was worth it because I have my baby home, but totally avoidable! They say he's lucky because we caught it early enough. Better safe than sorry- call the vet!!!
