Just reading this and glad to see Sammy doing well. Hope he's much better by the time he gets back home and into his own comfy bed!

so glad to hear everything went well with surgery and prognosis looks good. sounds like he has been through so much, and you, and he is a true little fighter! sammy sounds like an amazing little guy. he is so lucky to have you to care for him! keep fighting sammy!!!

Just got home from picking Sammy up! He has done really well...very bright and alert and walking well! :D He even played with his squeaky toy! :)

His little tush is pretty swollen and raw looking; but he is not acting like it is bothering him. He is on Bupranex for pain. He is also on Metacam and Amoxycillin.

Will post more about him later on. Need to go play with pups! :)

Wahoo!! So glad Sammy is home with you. Wonderful news that he is bright, alert, and walking!!! :)

So glad to hear that all went well and Sammy is home and doing well enough communicate and to play!! :) Sending huggs and positive thoughts for a speedy and thorough recovery.

Yeah glad to hear that Sammy is back home now and doing well. Also so gald to hear that he is walking well.

These little yorkies are tough for sure! :) His little tush looks SO sore and yet he is up and about. I would be in bed crying.

Ahhh... Poor guy. Sounds like he has amazing resilience up walking around and playing a little bit.

I just came home and found that Sammy had piddled in his bed. :( I hope he is ok. He has been passing urine well outside, so this surprised me.

Guess I will just have to wait and see....

It could just be the pain meds. He does not act like he is in pain, but I am giving them anyway because his little tush looks so sore. Poor little man. :(

He is ok. He was incontinent late last night and this morning. He had two BMs that just fell out. Late this afternoon he was able to go on his own. I had emailed the surgeon this morning and she said this does sometimes happen. His urine is controlled now. He is eating well.

He is doing ok. He still has periods of incontinence....also has some swelling; but they think it is normal. He goes back on the 11th.

Poor Sammy. He has had swelling since the surgery and I had a bad feeling the repair had failed. Sure enough...took him in today for his follow up appointment and he is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. :(

Please keep the little man in your thoughts and prayers. He has been through so much. :(
