| Biscuit's cough has changed Hey YT's I have been using the vaporizer with vicks for Bisco's cough problem for the past coupls of nights. He is just ending his fourth round of antibiotics and his cough is still here,BUT it has changed from a dry hacking cough to a mucusy one.He coughs phlem up and then swallows it I am going to speak with my vet on Monday, but wanted to know what other cough baby parents think or have had experience with.Does this change possibly mean he could be getting better since he is starting to get the evil out?I know that's what usually happens when we are sick and start getting better but....just fishing for thoughts Thanks bunches! |

| my toby had kennel cough and had the dry hacking cough, and then started to cough up phlem when he was getting "better".... he started to do this a week or so before the cough went away.... if it is kennel cough it can last for MONTHS though, i was lucky i only had to deal with it for a relatively short time.... good question though, i dont know if it was a coincidence, but hey im hoping youre lil puppy gets better |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali has also had kennel cough 12 weeks and gave it to my pom both are coughing still. Cali is on her 4 th round of antibiotics and today is the first morning she didn't wake up coughing, but has started to cough some in the last 15 minutes! I had no idea it would be so hard to get rid of. I'm afraid to bathe her, is it ok to give them baths with coughing still? Sorry I can't offer any solutions just my experience with the same thing. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I hope he gets better soon too - that has to be so upsetting to hear - I've never dealt with Kennel Cough but is this how it sounds when it's getting better ? To me ..I'd be worried about pnemonia and other things but if he's in Vets care - I'm sure they know what's happening - GOOD LUCK !!! poor baby - hope he feels better really soon |
