Connie, Faith looks so sweet in her blankie all snug. I bet she is sleeping from the meds and that is what she needs right now is rest. She has the sweetest little face. We are sending prayers and thoughts for a quick and speedy recovery for this sweet little angel.

It may be the meds making her so tired. I hope she is soon much better. That picture is adorable.:)

Metacam is what I used for my little poodle too. We would do a double dose to start (ask your Vet first,especially if she is tiny) and then a regular dose for the next 3 to 5 days. Heat was applied every two hours until I saw results.
You describe Faith as just sitting down an looking at you. I can so see her doing that,because that is what my Bunkey did.
I wish I had something else to tell you,my heart just hurts for both of you. Please keep us posted on how she is.

Thanks everyone! I feel a little more optimistic today, as Faith seems to be more herself and even walking a bit better. She is sleeping now and I imagine it's the meds, but at least she appeared better this morning, and I am so thankful. Hubby's back surgery was postponed for today...it's so disgusting. His hernia surgery has been cancelled 4 times now and most of that is due to the flooding river. He will be getting a pain block for his back which will hopefully give him some relief. I can't wait for things to get back to normal. Thanks again for your sweet comments and prayers!

So glad to hear that Faith is feeling better!! I hope from here that each day will show improvement. After Bunkey hurt his back the first time. I began teaching him "no jump" or used stay to keep him from jumping. The other thing that I usually did (had to retrain me) was just put him on the floor if I got off of the bed or stood up from a chair that we were both in.

Oh my Connie. Sorry to hear about all these cancellations for your husband's procedures. Hopefully, the block will give him some relief. Glad to here the little girl seems a little better. Will continue to keep all of you in my prayers.

So glad Faith appears to be a little better! :) But I feel for your hubby. It stinks when you are prepared for surgery and then it is canceled. You have your hands full don't you! ;) Sending little Faith hugs! :hug:

I am so thrilled to tell you that Faith is SO much better today! She's walking almost perfectly and acting so much like herself. I am so relieved and so happy! I know I still have to see that she is careful , but to see her being so normal just does my heart good. Yippee! Thanks for the prayers and thoughts! It worked!
