				   | Betty Boop didn't start her Memorial Day off very good. The dh put the Spectracide along the fence line!!! Just 2 days ago, I put it out on the driveway so the ants could carry it BACK to their mound. You know how our Yorkies like to do something they know they shouldn't do and then we CHASE THEM? The chase was on when I saw her. I really don't think she had enough time to get much. But, even if it was one speck, that is too much. I didn't know he had put any poison down where she could get it. He KNOWS better! I can't figure him out! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I called the Animal Emergency Clinic and was told to give 1 tsp hydrogen peroxide. They said if she vomited to not give anymore. It worked. She vomited within 5 minutes. Does this usually take care of a situation like this? Do you think it was vomited up and I don't have anything to worry about? HELP!

				   | Me, too! Thanks! I just hope that since she vomited everything back up (even what she ate 4 hours ago) that she will be OK.

				   | Did they say she needed to be brought in? Call them back and ask if they think she needs to be seen. Also you can call the ASPCA Poison Control hotline. They will charge you $65 for the call but this is who the ER clinics call for advice too. ASPCA | Contact Us

				   | Should be fine since she vomited. Wouldn't hurt to get some blood work done. If I was in this situation and had just talked to a tech (not a vet) and induced vomiting, I'd probably call poison control just to see the protocol and make sure you have covered all that needs to be. That's me though...

| 2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | What about calling the number on the back of the Ant control (I'm almost certion that they have poison control mentods to deal with this sort of thing) .... they may be able to help you. You would think that the vomit was the worst of it and that she threw it up......

				   | Betty Boop hasn't missed a beat! I called Poison Control and they said the same thing as the emergency vet. I just wanted to cover all of my bases. It is time for her to go back to the vet for a yearly checkup, so I'll be asking for complete bloodwork then. Thanks everyone for your prayers and well wishes.

				   | I'm so sorry that you had such a scare, Lila. You are a great mom to your little girl, and I know she has stolen your heart. I certainly can understand why. I hope the rest of this day is nice but uneventful for you. |
