| I'm not very experienced with young puppies...but if the problem is a "back-up" or "slow movement" in her bowels...would a little canned (pure not the pie filling) pumpkin added to her kibble help? My dogs both think its the greatest thing since banana (their next favourite)! It is good for both loose stools and constipation, as the water content and fiber keeps things moving along! |

| I did ask about the canned pumpkin and he just didn't want to do too much to her right yet since we did not know what caused all this in the first place. So we are still considering that option but first we have to see if this is the only problem or if it is something greater than just this. So far she is playing, running and seems real good. She just let out a yelp a little bit ago and she did have a little mess on her bottom so I cleaned her up and she is back to running again. She was not running like this last night so I think this is a good sign so far. Forgot to mention that we are going to start her on activia and see if that helps some but that won't be until tomorrow so we can see if the few changes we made causes it to get worse or not. Easier when you only have a few changes to rule out compared to having a lot.

Faith Ann is still doing WONDERFUL!!!!!!! So far she is not bloated and does not seem to be in pain. She did not like having a mess on her bottom and cried out with that but that is it so far. Of course I have been working so I am only going by hubby's report and from what I seen of her for the last little bit. Will give a better one later after I have been with her for awhile.

| Hi everyone, We just got back from the vet and she is doing great. WBC is now back to normal so she will still get her meds for another 3 days and then she will be done with that. However, her H&H is still low so he is concerned with anemia. She now has some multivitamin that she will get daily and see if that brings those numbers up. They only did a slight improvement from last weeks blood work but still low. She is going to go over to her house tomorrow with her sissy for a play date. She will stay there at least 8 hours unless she starts having problems. She has become very clingy to me so I know this time it is going to be harder on her but we have to get her back over there and get used to it again. So we will start tomorrow and see how that goes. Now if she does great then her and sissy will stay the night but that all depends on how they are doing. I will be over there with her for a few hours to get her settled and then come back later to check on her. So we will see how that goes.

| Good luck with the second attempt at transitioning Faith to her new home. Who knew she would be so sensitive and attached to your and her siblings that it would cause her trauma? At least she has been vet inspected inside and out for every possible thing, and is quite healthy. Now if she will just relax, eat, and poop normally all will be well.

| Ok just wondering, do you think it is possible that she misses her litter mates and is stressed over that? Sometimes some pup's do better with a sibbling around. I'm glad that she is feeling better.

| Yes, she did miss her litter mates and me which is why she stressed so much and got sick. Still don't know if that was what all of the problem was but it was part of it. When we try to send her back again she will take a sissy with her for a few days and I will go over to be with her also. Just until she gets comfortable there and then we will start taking sissy away and letting her stay by herself. Will do it slow and go on how they are both doing.

| Glad to read she is doing better. You are such a wonderful person. I wish all yorkie owners were as concerned as you are.

| Just checking in on Faith Ann. I hope all is well and she is feeling better and adjusting to the new home. It is not a surprise she misses such a loving mommy.
