Donating YT 4000 Club Member | We gave the vet tech a good laugh today... Scarlett was restless all night. This morning, she had diarrhea and passed a long slimy yellow/brown thing that looked like a worm. I dutifully scooped it up and put in in a baggie to take to the vet. After passing the mysterious object, Scarlett seemed fine and even wanted to eat. Upon arriving at the vet, I handed the tech my little baggie. Much to my surprise, she started to laugh. Scarlett did not pass a worm. Instead, she had eaten a Silly Band! I'm feeling a bit sheepish right now for not examining things more carefully before I hauled butt down to vet's office.

| Thai story is hilarious! I don't blame you for not examining it closer. A slimy worm, no matter how colorful, is gross just the same! Glad everyone had a laugh and your baby is feeling better.

| I would have done the exact same thing, don't feel bad. I mean there's only so much analyzing I'll do of dog feces... I have no problem letting the vet tech get his hands dirty to find out what it is.. |

| Agreed. Vet first and foremost and let them do the looking!

| Reminds me of the phone call a friend of mine received one day from her groomer. Seems her little pup had a BM and in the middle of it was a little hand. Turns out it was from her granddaughter's Dora toy.
