We gave the vet tech a good laugh today... Scarlett was restless all night. This morning, she had diarrhea and passed a long slimy yellow/brown thing that looked like a worm. I dutifully scooped it up and put in in a baggie to take to the vet. After passing the mysterious object, Scarlett seemed fine and even wanted to eat. Upon arriving at the vet, I handed the tech my little baggie. Much to my surprise, she started to laugh. Scarlett did not pass a worm. Instead, she had eaten a Silly Band! :confuse2: I'm feeling a bit sheepish right now for not examining things more carefully before I hauled butt down to vet's office. |
Thai story is hilarious! I don't blame you for not examining it closer. A slimy worm, no matter how colorful, is gross just the same! Glad everyone had a laugh and your baby is feeling better. :) |
Lol!!!! :) |
I'm glad that Scarlett is OK! |
LOL how cute! Im embarressed to say but mine have pooped some interesting things also. I quess never a dull moment when you have yorkies |
Haha! Poor baby. Glad all is well, techs have tough jobs, a little laugh every now and then is good for them! |
I would have done the exact same thing, don't feel bad. I mean there's only so much analyzing I'll do of dog feces... I have no problem letting the vet tech get his hands dirty to find out what it is.. :D |
Agreed. Vet first and foremost and let them do the looking! |
That is hysterically funny! You have an entry for What is the Oddest thing Your Yorkie has Pooped thread. |
Hahahaha. don't feel bad, I was a vet tech but I probably would have done the same thing lol Glad my son if over his silly band craze :D |

Reminds me of the phone call a friend of mine received one day from her groomer. Seems her little pup had a BM and in the middle of it was a little hand. Turns out it was from her granddaughter's Dora toy. |
:D That's tooo Funny! What we do for our babies.:p Glad Scarlett is ok. |
that's cute....I would've freaked! glad you were brave enough to even pick it up!:p |
And you just gave me a huge laugh. Thanks I needed that! |
Haha! That is funny! I have two funny stories... When Sophia was much younger she used to love getting in my daughters Polly Pockets. So, occasionally there would be a tiny shoe or something in her poo! In January Peyton chewed on this little ornament that was covered in purple glitter. Yep....he had sparkly glitter poo! :p |
OMgosh..........now that cracked me up !!! That is the best laugh I've had in days.....thank you! :p |
That's funny. Glad everything came out ok! |
That is TOO funny. Well, at YT'rs we are trained not to hesitate to go to the Vet. And you sure didn't!! Hope they had a cure for sillyband poop :) |
How funny! I could totally see my Khloe doing that... She eats everything! Well, glad to hear Scarlett isn't sick! |
Oh my goodness that is too funny. I'm glad it wasn't a worm. Sounds like me a several weeks ago, when Willow pooed and I saw white things in her poop, grabbed Willow and the poop went to the Vet only to find it was rice. I should have known better since I used to work at a Vet Office, but it's been awhile. |
Very funny! Scarlett is really trying to keep you on your toes! |
LOL!!!! too funny!!! At least she doesn't have giant sized worms!! And it passed ok! Silly little thing! |
One of mine just passed a little purple thing...upon closer examination it was a chewed on tiny Lego. Yes, got after son about his tiny toy droppings!! |
That is funny! I'm glad everything is ok though.:D |
That was a good laugh! Glad your furbaby's ok~!!:p |
TOOO funny!!!:D Sounds like something i would do!!:D You made my night. |
to add a not so happy note to the story please be careful about the silly bands my sisters rabbit chocked to death on one ever sense then I have banned them from the house |
Laughs my butt off |

I'm always amazed at just what a dog will eat some times. |
