| High wbc My 4 year old has an elevated WBC @ 29k with elevated eos. He has had this for about 3 weeks. We have tried various forms of antibiotics he is on zeniquin now he has normal abd x-ray, normal stool, his other labs were fine. He recently started snubbing his food, we've tried his fav's he isn't eating on his own, so we are feeding him a mix of ID and plain yogurt and he keeps this all down, so we are feeding him every 2 hours, nextstep and ultrasound? Has anyone encountered this? And what did you do? |

| Are the eos. the only ones elevated? Trying to remember - those have a lot to do with parasites and allergies. What prompted the blood work to begin with? Vomiting? Intestine specific blood work and fecal all normal?

| Just a quick question fro you, Have you been anywhere in the southwest desert? High WBC does go along with Valley Fever as does the not eating. If you have I would seriously recommend a Valley Fever Titer Test I have had this proble several time but I live in Tucson BUT dogs visiting for just a short time can pick up the spores and they can develop Valley Fever. They do not have to have a Fever it is just the name. Sparklingbluyorkies.com |

| His other labs were all normal, good news here we re-drew labs Friday and his lab (WBC) is now 17 k down from 32k! He lost a1/2 pound during this ordeal but now he is eating and drinking, our vet has him on ID for now. All things show he is on the mend, hopefully we can figure out what triggered this! |
