OP, you really should look at that link or sticky on vet bill help. some of the links are dead, as it was posted a while ago but a lot of them are really willing to help. and they don't ask you to give your right leg in order for them to do so. wouldn't it make you feel better if you knew 100% what is going on, and you didn't have to pay a ton out of pocket? |

Sure, her choice of words may have been incorrect in the other thread, but it matters not. The main issue is this poor pup that has NO choice but to live with her and suffer. :thumbdown:thumbdown It is quite frankly disgusting to me. She can go through life blaming the mean people on YT for Polo dying, which is what is going to happen to him...after he suffers more. :( But...I will say what I am saying so that somewhere in the recesses of her brain she will remember that she was told she was wrong. I am so sad for this pup but there is nothing I can do but continue to point out to her that he is sick and suffering. Again OP: there is a yorkie rescue in your area that can help Polo: Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue, Inc. |

And yet again nowhere is this owner. I don't care if I come across strident or angry or anything else. BUT get your POLO the MRI he needs. Get him diagnosed and on an intelligent, fully informed health care plan. If you can't do this, surrender him to the Rescue that was posted, or as I posted earlier to me, I will insure he gets the treatments he needs. My heart is breaking to read about this poor guy. |
I certainly hope that her friends who communicate with her when she is online are putting POLO's interests first. She is coming online a lot and not posting. These threads are sad....and simply incomprehensible. |

I read this entire thread. I can't imagine not doing whatever it takes to get my dog well. In Bentley's (my yorkie) short 3 years of life he has been to the vet more times than we can count. We just went today because he got a bee sting. He had a bad reaction to something (maybe he bee sting?) but I gave him 2cc benedryl right after he got stung, then called the vet. They wanted to see him immediatly since he wasnt putting pressure on his paw. He had some reaction to something after the appointment (maybe the sting?) but he was itching really bad at the steroid+epinephrin shot site. I mean bad. Whimpering, crying, scratching nonstop. Long story short I gave him more benedryl per the vet's recommendation. He is much better now. I would do anything to make my baby well. If I had to I'd walk to the vet carrying him on my hands and knees to make him well. I feel so sorry for Polo. He doesn't deserve blatant neglect! If I knew where you lived (to the OP) I'd call the ASPCA and tell them what is going on. I'm sure they would send someone out and force you to get the MRI. Food allergies would not cause neurological problems. NO way in hell. I'm TICKED off because of the neglect. I pray that Polo will survive this neglect somehow. Through God's will. Maybe you will see the light. There is no reason you can't apply for care credit. Get off your duff and do it! |

GoofyBritt, you and I could be good friends... OP, what she ^ said. |
Although I'm afraid how all this is going to end up; I keep checking this thread to see how Polo is doing. Saying a prayer that he will get the loving care he needs. |

I don't care WHO prescribed it. The pup is being mismanaged medically. :thumbdown |
Oh, she did take Polo to a vet and the dog was so bad off he doubled his steroids but he needs an MRI and further diagnosis/treatment. What gets me in that last post is she says she thought no one really cared? Is this thread not chock full of anguished advice and pleadings from people who care so much they are crying and upset and worried sick that this little dog is not getting the best care his condition warrants as he falls repeatedly and is obviously still having all kinds of other symptoms? What can she be thinking all this is about if not caring so much it hurts? |
To all of the People that think I am lying about Bella. Here is the proof of pictures of her and some with Polo. If this is not proof that I don't have another dog I don't know what is. BELLA pictures by polomysweetpup - Photobucket I feel like everything I post on this thread I am being stoned and stabbed I feel you guys are abusing me FOR MY CHOCIES, I am thinking of closing this thread, My breeder warned me about some people on this website that is why I recently stopped posting as much Guess what 30mins ago Polo picked up his bully stick and chewed almost all of it he never fell once and could hold the bully stick in his paws and you want to tell me he is not any better are you (EDITED by MOD) kidding me? Most People would of not even of went to the Neuro vet if the did not care about there pet for you guys to say I am negelcting him is hurtful when what I am doing for him is obvious (EDITED by MOD) working and he is getting better, I guess you guys can't get that through your brain since you guys only think there is one way of healing. HAVE YOU HEARD OF GOD GOD CAN HEAL THE LAME AND BLIND WAIT DID GOD DO THAT WITH THE HELP OF DOCTORS AND MEDINCE NO HE DID NOT. GOD IS GREATER AND MORE POWERFUL THEN VETS AND MRI'S |

I don't claim to know "all things God" but I would have to say I highly doubt He's ever had to censor any vulgar language. JMHO Whatever the reason, I am super glad your baby's feeling better. |
