In times of stress, I too open the Bible to a random page and let my eyes fall where God directs me and it really works for those who believe. I'm so happy for you that Peyton is beginning his recovery, you are a good mommy and I know you will do everything possible to speed it along. Also glad you had a good experience with Purdue. I think I am going to take Chloe there for her LP surgery when that time comes.

I am so relieved that Peyton came through the surgery well! I'm praying for a complete recovery and a quick one! I'm so glad you were comforted by our dear Lord in your time of need! Bitsy, I am so glad Peyton is doing well after the surgery. They sound so loving @ Purdue and I think that's wonderful as well! I'm glad you have your faith to help you through this, He is always there!

I have the sweetest little 1st grade girl ever! Today she came home and showed me a "Poem Book" she made for Peyton.

I just have to share how cute it is...(keep in mind that there are tons of misspelled words and cute pictures along the way!)

Okay, so it doesn't really rhyme or make complete sense, but I'm sure you can imagine how happy this sweet "poem book" made me. So cute!!! On one page there is a heart and in the heart she drew a tiny girl holding a tiny dog. Oh my! Just too cute for words!

Camile, I cannot recommend Purdue enough. It is the BEST in my opinion. The student assigned to his case has texted me a few times in addition to the phone calls keeping me updated on Peyton. The surgeon called this afternoon to let me know how the surgery went and to answer any questions. They are soooo nice and caring. The student is also spending every available minute with him, holding him and comforting him. It is incredible.

I knew you'd be having a hard time with this. It's sort of reopening of old wounds. I'm thrilled Peyton came through and is recovering now. You handed your burden to the right person today! Eva's little book of poetry is precious and definitely a keeper.
