My heart goes out to you and I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know my babies have given me so much joy and comfort in my life. I tell them all the time that I am so lucky to have them and thankful for every minute I can spend with them. I try to remember that through the awful pain of losing one of my beloved babies. I hope you can and that it can ease your heart a little.

my heart breaks for you and i will send yorkie prayers your way. experiencing the loss of a dear yorkie is so painful and unbearable. my little nika left this world last august at only 6 years old. i would've done anything to save her but pancreatitis won unfortunately. the memories you have are yours to keep forever. love never dies and your baby will live forever in your heart, young again and pain free. my deepest sympathies for you and your fur baby.

I finally worked through those 'dark weeks' and cried every day which seemed an eternity..and many times come to this thread to re-read so many inspirational thoughts and prayers for my sweet Jacques-Pierre. I can now cherish those sweet memories so dear to my heart. This weekend is special, I have a new baby Madeline Isabella Rose (Maddie). She is 11 weeks old and so precious. In my grief, I sat and read all of Jacques' old papers....so began a search for his bloodline...and actually found where his daddy was born almost 20 years ago in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia...so my little Jacques' spirit led me to Maddie. While she is definitely her own unique personality, all of the special traits I loved in Jacques are there. Life is good and complete again. Thought I would share my story with all of you kind yorkie lovers. I posted her picture in my album. Happy Easter Bunny Day everyone!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful news about Maddie. She is a beautiful little girl, and I'm sure she will fill your heart with love. I believe it is your deep love of Jacques which led you to Maddie, certainly not to replace him but to share your love with another little one. I honestly didn't think I could love another little one as much as my first Yorkie, but within a period of a little more than a year, we brought three little girls into our lives. My little angels taught me how wrong I was, and I fell madly in love again. They each had the same father, but were so different in every way other than all being very friendly and loving. We have lost them all now, but like you, we know we will open our hearts fully to love again in the future. All of my girls are irreplaceable, but I vividly remember their distinct personalities and carry them in my hearts wherever I go. Maddie will probably trigger very beautiful memories of Jacques, and you'll find yourself smiling both for Maddie and her older brother. I wish you much love, laughter, happiness, and health with your little girl and comfort to ease some of the pain that you still feel. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
