| Cough question Have a quick question, when Bitsy is outside and she is running around, she'll start to cough, especially when she is running real fast. Does this sound normal or could something be wrong? She is fine once she stops running.

| It could be allergies. Does she wear a collar or a harness. If she wears a collar it could be irritating her throat. If it continues, I would have the vet take a look. Good luck!! |

| No she is not in a harness or collar when she is outside running around. That's what is strange about it

| It could be kennel cough, itcould be reverse sneezing, it could be collapsed trachea, it could be trachea irritation. It is best checked by a vet to know for sure

| Small dogs can also get tonsillitis, but a vet can tell if they're swollen just by looking. They don't usually have a fever as do humans.
