| Tremors & Listness tonight Hello all, I came home from work this evening to a quiet house. Where was my Toby I asked, he normally is meeting me at the door to get his treat. He kinda walked up to me. Eyes didnt look normal, he is listless, then I sat down, he couldnt jump up on me. I picked him up and he has very dry mouth, continues to lick, seemed to be thirsty. THen he began a jumpy type of shake, just certain portions of his body. Of course the vet is not in, we must wait until tomorrow. But this has never happened before, he is 6 yrs and about 6 pounds. |

| Check this Emergency vet out. CCPEC: Welcome Sounds like your little one needs immediate attention. If that vet isn't in your area they can probably direct you to an emergency vet near you. I am surprised your vet doesn't have an emergency contact.

| I would call an ER vet right now. Pale gums, sticky mouth, listlessness can be signs of hypoglycemia. Do you have pancake syrup on hand? Rub a little on his gums now. Do you have plain yogurt? I would not wait through the night or go to sleep with him in this condition.

| Yes, get to an emergency Vet now. This is not a good sign. Do you think he got into something and ate something he shouldn't have?

| Sounds serious...could he have ingested something toxic?? Certainly your Vet office has a number of someone you can speak too when they are out...I'd call and see.

| Thanks ! Thanks to all of you for your ideas and concern. I have given him some syrup, and continuing to watch him. There is an ER Vet about 30 miles away. At this moment, I am just watching him and will get him to the vet in the morning. |

Could you at least call them and tell them your puppies symptoms...and see if they think he can wait until morning?
