| Minnie is not well. Please advise what to do WE adopted Minnie 2 months ago. She has always been loving playful and a healthy eater. The last 10 days or so she has been getting up about every 2 hours or so barking and seeming to want to go out. For the last 2 days her appetite has dwindled and she is staying under the bed. Normally she sleeps under the bed. She has been barking aggressivelywhen you go near her under the bed. Today she not eaten anything and is barking aggressively anytime we go near her. There is no bleeding but she just had a large soft poop. Does anyone know what might be wrong with her? Any insight would be most appreciated. Thank you all. miksin55@yahoo.com |

| I wouldn't know what is wrong, but I'd strongly suggest you have her completely checked out. Generally when a dog lets you know to stay clear, it's due to some discomfort or pain.

| How old is she? Did you buy her or adopt her? If you adopted, do you have medical records on her? It sounds to me like you need to take her to the vet to be evaluated to rule out any medical issues.

| Minnie is not well Thank you for the responses. We have made an appointment for her on Friday. The vet we spoke to said it sounds like a false pregnancy but we are having her checked out anyway. She was adopted 2 months ago and we were told she has never been ill. |
