The things that showed up in red on the blood report are HCT - normal is 37.5-55, Maggies is 64.6, HGB - normal is 12-18, Maggies is 19.5, MCV - normal is is 60-77, Maggies 77.4 and BUN - normal is 7-27, Maggies is 31. None of those seem really high, but then I don't know anything about blood work unless it's pointed out to me. The BAT was done in November and it was negative. I hope it's something like a small cut and not an illness that won't go away. | OMG'sh, Jeanie...this is, exactly, what my gut feeling is saying about bully sticks...One of the pups had taken a bully stick out the back door, one night, and I coudn't find it, because it was dark...The next day, I couldn't find it at all! I figured it had come in, w/o my knowledge...I had a check in my mind that it had been outside, in the damp dew, but thought, well, it'll probably be o.k...When Apple started having these episodes, I thought back to that bully stick that may have starting growing some bad stuff, outside, and wondered if that might be it? So far, I don't know...I have taken up all the bully sticks...My only issue w/this, is that Apple has been chewing them for about 2 years...However, they haven't been hauled in and out...Sure hope your little girl is doing well, this evening...I know how hard it is on mama, not to mention the baby.... |
