grandpa Steve. I'm sorry this has your heart to worrying. prayers for Max and a healthy and great surgery. i hope it's just a growth and nothing else more...hugs to you and the family.

Maxine is Home! Thank you all for the well wishes and encouraging words. She received 5 stitches, pain meds, antibiotic, and lost several small teeth. Now that tongue will really pop thru! She is a little quiet, and was whinning a bit on the way home. She was real excited to see us, and almost jumped out of the Vet Techs hands as they bought her into the room. She will go back in 10-14 days for stitch removal, and the Vet will call us with the biopsy results when they come in. Overall, Maxine for almost 14 is doing real well. She will be fine when Basil arrives to show him the ropes and get him in trouble! Marge and I are releived when we saw how excited she was and how well she moved. A little Beast! She is now standing next to Carlo as he eats, hoping he drops some of his kibble. Nothing has changed, and she should know after 11 years that nothing ever leaves Carlo's mouth!

Glad to hear all went well and she is definitely a cutie. Hoping for a good pathology report as well. We will all be waiting for the good news.

I'm glad Maxine pulled thru perfect. I can't wait to hear the results, I am sure she is fine. She is a strong girl.

I am just reading this tonight and am so relieved to hear that Maxine's surgery is over and she is doing well. My prayers are with you all for a good outcome and a speedy recovery. Nice to hear that Carlo is fine and still has a good appetite!! Is that a new little yorkie in your avatar....did I miss that you were adopting a puppy? If so, congrats. Either way, you and yours are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much. Yes, we are getting a new little Male in another week. His name is Basil, and he will be the Prince of the house!

Maxine is doing quite well tonight. She ate a little, had some water, and now on the couch watch TV.

Me too, thinking of you guys. Glad she is home and I know you guys must be sitting on pins and needles waiting for lab results. They say that prayer by many is very powerful so all these prayers from YT are really motivated for a good turnout. Mary
