| An Update On Lily's Condition Since my last post, I have located a surgeon in MA to do Lily's surgery and they have scheduled it for next Friday, our consult is on Thursday. Lily is doing well on the amox and the lactalose, and really enjoyed the L/D, which surprised me. Her activity level is a little down probably because of the antibiotic, but otherwise doing well. They plan on doing an ultrasound during the consult appt and her bloodwork was done yesterday, cbc, serum. As I mentioned last week we found on Sat that her BAT was 166 and 209, so that wasn't good news. They have decided to go in because these stones which are loaded in both kidneys need to be addressed and of course the liver issue. This surgeon using the ameroid constrictor technique and came highly recommended. I am a mess, but trying real hard not to fall apart every time I look into those eyes. I am really scared. |

| Thank you 107Barney !!. Me too, at least if there is an emergency, we are not far away. I was hoping we might be able to see her after surgery, but they don't allow that, I guess I can understand that, don't want to upset her and I am not sure I could see her like that. All I want to do, is to be able bring her back home after this. Your prayers and thoughts are close to our hearts. Last edited by LittleLily; 01-20-2011 at 07:23 PM. |
