Prayers that everything goes well for Lily. I am sure you are terrified, but stay positive! You've done everything you can. Lily is lucky to have such a caring, loving mommy!

I am praying for Lily. I posted 2messages yesterday about my Emma Angel's experience at Tufts University. Sorry, but I had not been on this forum for a while. Tufts was wonderful---all is well with Emma. She had her surgery in June 2009.

Where in Ma is Lily going for her shunt surgery?

So happy to hear Emma is doing well. Lily is having having her consult on Thursday and surgery on Friday at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists In Buzzard Bay. Came highly recommended. A Dr. Kocklin who is very experienced with Liver Shunt surgeries and uses the ameroid constrictor. Her kidney stones are another thing that they are going to have address. They decided to schedule her early because of these stones.
She's on L/D, lactalose and amox.

Just wanted to tell you that I live on Cape Cod about 20 minutes from the Vet's in Buzzards Bay. They are fabulous! When Levi was younger he choked on a bully stick...naturally after hours...so off we ran to Buzzards Bay Specialists. They were terrific, did a full body Xray to make sure there were no blockages and sent me home feeling pleased with the experience.
I also wanted to tell you that I work in Bourne, which is Buzzards Bay and I am like two seconds from the clinic. Do you want me to come sit with you after I get through from school? Regardless, If you want pm. me and I will send you my cell phone number if you would like. Wishing you the best.

:thumbup: You are awesome Rose! There is nothing worse than waiting in a waiting room with your baby in the back "being worked on." Christine - you will need the distraction so I hope you do let Rose come by!! I am praying for Lily.
