| worried.....blood in stool Hello everyone! It's been a long time since we have posted. Our Bruizer is having blood in his stool. It is not runny and he isn't having any other issues. He has been eating and drinking fine. Please send any advice on what we need to do. Thanks! P.S. I'm calling our vet as soon as they open this morning. |

| I called the vet when I got to work and they asked me if I brought him to town with me. I told them no. They said to watch him and if he did it again to bring him in and they wanted to observe him for a few hours. I think that I should just go get him on my lunch hour and bring him in for the rest of the day. Does anyone know what could cause this? |

| A million things could cause it. If mine, I'd take him in today.

| For those of you who know me know that I don't take chances with my little one. He has been acting like nothing is wrong. Playing, eating, and drinking fine. My vet said as long as nothing else is going on he should be fine until I can bring him in the morning. I'm just worried because he has never done this before and I have no idea what could cause this. We haven't changed his food or anything like that. |

| I would get him to the vet today. What IF it gets worse in the middle of the night? Then, you will be facing an emergency clinic visit.

| There are too many things it could be for anyone to try and guess a diagnosis. Hopefully, you took him to the vet. Please keep us updated. I hope it is nothing serious. |

| Sorry it has taken so long to get back on here. I took Bruizer to the vet on my lunch hour that day. She said he had bacteria in his stool sample and put him on antibiotics twice a day. She said she couldn't believe that he hadn't been sick or anything. She said he probably just got into some trash or caught an infection? He seems fine now. Thanks for the help. |
