Thanks for the update Cheryl, on sweet Lexi. Glad she was finally able to rest comfortably last night. It will all get better from here.

I had to laugh when you said you got to the vet early - very early. That is all of us on YT, I feel certain. I know I do exactly the same thing.

How is Lexi doing today? I am so happy for you and your little girl that everything went well yesterday and the nervous anticipation and worry are over. Best wishes to Lexi for a speedy recovery.

Thanks so much for your comfort...Lexi had a very bad night and she slept only 10 minutes off and on all night. She just couldn't get comfortable and we felt so bad for her as our hearts were breaking seeing that sweet little face look at us and just didn't understand what was going on. Today, however is a better day. Lexi has eaten some and drank water and played with her toys...so happy to see her feeling a little better and she can actually lay down without jumping in pain. I am going to go ahead and give her another pain med tonight to help but I will see how she is tomorrow and maybe not give her anymore. I hate medicating her but think she still needs one tonight. Thanks again for all your kind loving words and I know our love for Lexi is the same Love you and your husband had for your little ones too...there truly isn't anything like it we are blessed!

Thank you and we are so happy to have her home too...glad yesterday and last night are over for her...she is on her way to feeling better

So happy Dustin is doing well and what a brave young man you have..I am with you give me the drugs...LOL no pain tolerance here..I love the parachuting out of the plane that was just to darn funny thanks for making me laugh as I am not sure how I am even awake at this moment. Yep, that was me nice an early and the receptionist is like...well, the doctor won't be here until 4:00pm and we can't release her without him...gueeeze what is up with that? I have to tell you I am not on time for anything ever.....the joke all my life is I will be late for my own funeral. But, I am thinking that isn't a bad thing right??? LOL

Thanks Lisa...Lexi is doing well today just gave her a pain med to help her tonight. She went all day since last night without one but I can tell she is still in some pain but at least she can lay down now without jumping straight up in pain. Poor little thing we really had a tough night with her and her little face broke our heart. So happy to see her more herself today. I will see how she is doing tomorrow as she may not need anymore pain med I hate giving it to her because I worry but don't want her to be in pain the doctor said she could have it for 6 days if need be and I would be able to tell...thanks again for checking on her...it means alot Hugs Cheryl & Lexi

thanks for checking on Lexi...she is much better today...last night was a tough night on her she couldn't even lay down broke our hearts and she sleep for 10 minutes at a time and wake up crying...it is nice to see her playing with her favorite toy...carrying it around in her mouth. Hopefully she will get a good night sleep and tomorrow watch out world

Thanks so much everyone, Lexi had a good night sleep last night for the most part. She only got up once and that wasn't for very long at all and she went back to sleep. I looked at her incision last night as hubby has been looking at all days prior. Poor little girl as it is quite large. I say it is about 2 inches long. She actually rolled over this morning for me to rub and kiss her little belly she loves that when you give her kisses...spoiled little girl. The stitches are kind of sharp...kind of like fishing line??? So I am thinking every once in awhile she must lay or turn a certain way and they poke at her...she will jump and run from a sound sleep. Then she turns around and looks at you like why did you poke me...not funny but you can't help but want to laugh at her. She is playing agian so I know she is feeling much better. Boy, this was a rough one on her though so happy it is over...and so happy to have all your wonderful prayers and well wishes.
