| Doggie Flu/Stomach Bug? About a week ago, Brutus started coughing (occasionally) and the only way I can describe it is, it sounds like a cat coughing up a hair ball. Within the last 24 hrs he has been coughing non stop, his little body even feels warm to me, and he is lethargic compared to his normal self. This morning he had a BM and it was a mucas type poo! He is still eating but he feels/looks smaller to me. I am worried about my little man and just wanting to know if anyone is or has experiencing anything similar to Brutus. Thanks! |

| Take him to the vet. These little one's can go downhill very quickly and respiratory illnesses can turn into pneumonia. You can easily lose them if they aren't under a vet's care.

YT 1000 Club Member | Yes take him to the vet ASAP. Charlie just went through a doggie virus that he is getting over now. He is on 2 antibiotics. He was throwing up and had dirreaha. He quit eating or drinking for 3 days. He is now just started eating again and this has been the 4th day. I had to force him to drink water and gave him some soft food. He is just now getting back to his normal self. Keep us posted.
