Most of the chicken jerky for dogs that you can find in the store are either made in China or Product of China... But my small local pet store found some that were made by Tyson Chicken. Made and produced in Iowa.. They are called TRUE CHEWS.... They are great!!! Izzy gets a half of one daily and has NOT had any trouble at all... If you google it I'm sure it will take you right to the website ![]()

YT Addict | ![]() I just happened upon this thread by accident. I've been giving Jenna the Dogswell Duck Jerky treats for about a month with no problems. Are these also made in China? Has anyone reported having trouble with them? Jeez, it's so hard to find good chews for her. I had to give up the CET chews that my vet gave me because they caused trouble with yeast in her ears. Now these may not be good? Where the heck am I supposed to find something that she'll like, and that won't hurt her? I have to avoid anything with chicken in it, as that gives her diarrhea. I also just bought a bag of their lamb's meal glucosamine & chondroitin filled chews and haven't given her any of those yet. Now I'm afraid to. ![]()

ALL Dogswell treats come from China. It is only their canned and kibble line that is produced within the US. Why take a chance? Plus making your own chicken strips is really easy, there is a homemade thread in the forum that gives tons of receipes. I am sure she would like them just as much if not better! ![]()

![]() ![]() You have hit the nail on the head.....there are so many fabulous companies that are right here in the US that make wonderful products for our pups, I refuse to support another countries population when our own Americans are out of work. That is one reason why I don't step foot into Walmart.

| ![]() Just a update on Jack and Josie. They are both fine now. I took them off the chicken and rice (home made) the Dr had me feed them and once they started eating their dry kibble they are fine today. I will never give them another snack that I have not researched. I did find put from a private pet store that some of those chicken treats are made in the plant in US and some are made in China? Either way I will never purchase any for my two again. Thanks everyone for your support. |
