Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Can dogs catch coughs & colds in the winter? For the past few days now I have noticed Poppy is coughing. Its not a lot, maybe 3 times a day. Just for the past 2-3 days. She coughed maybe 3 times last night while we were playing. The only dog she is around is my other dog Jess who has not been coughing, and neither have been to a kennel. We have always walked her with a harness and not a collar and she is up to date on her heart worm shots. Do you think its anything to be worried about? Or can dogs catch coughs and colds in the winter?

| Yes, they can get colds or other respiratory conditions. It's good to go get it checked out. They are so little. They can get pneumonia, so it's good to be careful.
