Donating YT 11K Club Member | ![]() Does this look normal? London got her belly hernia removed and there has been increased bruising and redness around the stitches. Looks painful to me! Also would A&D or putting something on it help? Thanks..

| ![]() Bruising to the skin can occur during a surgery then show up a day or two later. Best to call your vet as he knows what to expect. and no, never put anything on stitches. Hope she feels better soon!

| ![]() It looks like it could be normal bruising from the surgery, BUT, I would check with the vet to be sure! Don't put anything on it unless directed to by your vet! Let us know what the vet says!
