| ![]() Any idea on what I can do or what is causing the flakiness? About a month ago before her grooming, I took her to the vet to get her annual shots and the vet said it was due to some oil and for me to drop back in to pick up a special shampoo if it doesn't go away after the grooming. She's been groomed for about 3 weeks now and the flakiness is still there. HELP! **We're stopping by the vet to grab the shampoo tomorrow. MANY thanks in advance. ![]() |

| ![]() The shampoo from the vet should help. I had to do that with one of my pups....I am sorry, but I am not sure which shampoo it was. I have a few...I think it was the Derma Bens that has Benzoil Peroxide in it. It did help! Good luck!

| ![]() When we adopted Tia this past Easter, she came with lots of stuff, to include ringworm (she shared with everyone). The shampoo to treat the ringworm gave Ally very bad dry/flaky skin around her neck. It felt like someone glued Frosted Flakes to her neck. It just wouldn't go away and I tried everything. I finally got a shampoo from the vet and it clear up quickly. I had to leave it on 10 minutes before washing it off. Good luck and hope it clears up soon. |
