I don't post much, am a chair stalker,But I have a 22 month old Annebelle who for the last two morning when she wakes up her whole body twitches for a second and then she will cough once after it . I am worried that it may be a type of seizure.

Does this go on all day or just when she wakes?

As far as I know only in the mornings when she first wakes up. I have not seen it any other time when she wakes. She is allways glued to my side.

Mine do this too but for your own peace of mind I would tell your vet.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like that. Perhaps a checkup is a good idea and maybe a blood test?

I have seen Bogey do a little twitch first thing in the morning and never really thought twice about it. If you are concerned you really should give your vet a call.

Maybe it is just the way she wakes herself up. But, for peace of mind, I would mention it to the vet.

Maddie will twitch a little from time to time when sleeping. Let us know what your vet says.
