I am so sorry you and your little one are going through this. What a wonderful place YT is though. Even something like this, and you have several members with experience in the same medical condition willing to share with you. I think that will give you some much needed confidence that the surgery can alleviate the problem. Sending prayers for the surgeon's skill, your peace and calm, and most of all for your little one's srength and healing.

This is great news that Gucci is older. And her weight is good. She should be a very good candidate for the AAI surgery. Although it is serious, she has good strength on her side. We are in prayer for all of you now.

You know how close this is to my heart. It is only by the prayers and friendship you have offered that I am stronger. The yorkie community has supported me and lynn with so much love and comfort, that I could never say Thanks enough. My prayer has been for healing to occur, so I can rise up and be a support for anyone else facing this diagnosis. Our precious Ellie ministered to so many of us on earth - and I am positive she would want me to continue her story in some way to be still positive and encouraging for what we can all overcome. I cherish each of you in my life thru Ellie.
Now Gucci- we are here for you and we cheer you along to good health soon.

Hi everyone. I so appreciate everyone's good thoughts and prayers and thought I should update you as to the latest. We had to fly Gucci to Jacksonville last night and she was examined today by the neuro up there who we've heard so much about. He is keeping her there today for tests and he will do the surgery tomorrow morning. I will continue to keep you all informed because everybody has just been so kind and it's nice to have a place to go and "vent", because when this kind of thing happens, it kind of consumes you and non-doggie lovers don't understand that they are our babies. Good thoughts and I will let you all know how the surgery goes. Thanks again.

OMG, BIG HUGS for you. I know this is hard but Gucci is in good hands. You need to take care of yourself and yes get plenty YT Support. My prayer are with you and Gucci. Please keep us updated.
