| KC has Mystery Illness What a morning. When KC woke up this morning shivering and licking the roof of his mouth. When I picked him up to check on him I could tell he had a fever and that he was in pain. Well off to the Vet we went and he is there now. The Vet is not sure what is wrong with him she was suspecting that he had a seizure but can find no other unusual symptoms to support that theory. His blood work appears to be normal and his temp is now back down to normal. He is getting a X Ray now. She thinks he may have eaten something with lead in it. I guess that could happen because where we walk there are a lot of old historic homes. Maybe he stepped in something and licked it off his paws? Uggg. I'm at a loss and so worried. snow |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am sorry KC is not feeling well. I hope they can diagnose him and get him home and feeling better. Has he been eating ok? Sometimes when they lick like that it can be from an upset tummy. Please keep us posted.

All was fine yesterday. Poops were normal and he ate all of his food. He even pigged out a little on some bananas and apple bits my friend gave him when we visited her on our walk last night. snow

| I'm so sorry KC is sick and will say a prayer for a complete recovery. When your friend was giving him apple pieces last night, are you sure there were no apple seed in with it? They can be toxic to dogs...just the seeds. I hope he is feeling better very soon. Hugs to you!

I saw the baggie she was holding and the bananas and apples were all cut up into little pieces. The apples were peeled but I did not look close enough to see if she cut out the seeds. I'll call and ask her.

| Saying a prayer for KC -- hope he feels better soon and you find out what was the culprit. So many times, causes remain elusive when they sort of kick the problem on their own.
