Oh boy. I hope she gets some relief soon and some good drugs for the pain. I am hoping it's nothing major. Please come back and let us know how Scarlett is and what the diagnosis is!

Vet update: Nothing broken or dislocated! Yippee! We could see some soft tissue swelling on the xray, but otherwise it was normal. My vet told her she had "beautiful hips" (LOL- what lady doesn't love to hear that?!) The vet thinks she just sprained her hip, so it's 5 days of deramaxx and trying to keep her quiet.

I moved Rhett's crate out in to the living room so she can see everything that is going on. She's acting pitiful because she wants to play with Rhett so badly, but resting her leg is more important.

Once again, I want to say how much I love my vet. She never makes me feel like I'm over-reacting, she never talks down to me and she always shows me what is going on rather than just telling me.

I'm just now seeing this. I'm so glad Scarlett wasn't seriously injured.

You'll have to tell Rhett he needs to take it easy on his little sis.

She rested well today after she got over feeling sorry for herself. I haven't seen any limping with her normal walking to the piddle pad, but then again I haven't let her walk much at all. She's had her first dose of meds (she gets it once a day) so hopefully by the morning she should be starting to get some good relief with it.

Rhett misses his sister. He went and took a nap by the crate this afternoon.

Aww it is cute. Just keep her occupied and I'd suggest resting just a couple of days. Max was able to rest easy when Cooper was busy with something else. But sometimes I actually put Cooper in the ex pen so he'd leave Max alone for few!
