| sookie bear/loose stool hello my yorkie is 5 months old and from sunday afternoon she hasnt been feeling well.. she has loose stool and vomitting she activate here and there but mostly sleeping & out of it.. im really nervous i really hope she gets better.. what should i do? |

| You need to to take her to the vet tomorrow! Little dogs like Yorkies can dehydrate in 24 hours from vomiting and diarrhea. Dehydration causes serious electrolyte imbalances that can be life threatening. Cardiac arrest can occur. That is why she is lethargic. She will not get better on her own. She needs fluids and an anti-nausea medication, for starters. Do you have any Pedialite? Until you can get her to the vet tomorrow you need to give her Pedialite by syringe if necessary. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | By syringe, you mean squirting it into her mouth - not injecting it, right? And sookiebear, you might want to think about calling an emergency pet clinic and not waiting until morning. These babies can get dehydrated so fast! |

| Sorry - yes, I meant by mouth. I use one of those big syringes they sell for babies. |

| loose stools I agree please get your baby to the vet ASAP! lethargy from loose stools and vomitting IS NOT GOOD......................hope your baby gets better fast!!!!!!!!.......................Boops mom |
