The doctors knocked him out for an MRI and a CT scan today and seems to be responding well to it. So we decided to go forward with the surgery. It's been several hours already and no news yet. I hope no news is good news.

Great News!!

The doc just called and said the surgery went well and he is awake and breathing on his own! They put 2 screws, cement and a bone graft on him. More updates tomorrow on when he can come home!!

great news Gloria!! It will be a long yet very emotionally rewarding road you are about to go down. Let me know what I can do to help in Skeeter's rehab.

I'm so glad the surgery went well. I told ya these little doggies are tougher than you think. They just don't realize they aren't unbreakable. They run and jump like they're made of steel. I know. All of these special Skeeter prayers must have helped a little, too.

I am sitting here crying for you and your baby! I'm so glad everything turned out alright, tho. I know you have a tough road ahead of you, but you and your baby will be fine! You guys are in so many peoples' prayers, everything has got to turn out fine! Good luck and God speed!

I know if anyone can relate to what little Skeeter is going through and what is in store, it's you, your husband and little Sedrick!!

I have gotten so far behind on YorkieTalk .... didn't know that you had another Yorkie ... love the name!! Good to see you back online!
