Btw.....in no way is she "rescuing" pups when she is "selling" them at her (or anyone's) pet store. I really wish you would quit using the term "rescue" when referring to this greeder. By posting you may think you're doing her a favor but in actuality you're only keeping this thread alive and allowing many others to learn the truth. And, the truth, I don't think is favorable for your "friend". |

Actually I do pay taxes, and I do have a business license. And just in case you didn't know, since you stated on your blog that this breeder is on the USDA list, that pretty much seals the deal as they are a puppymill. Brokers are even worse than millers, and I see you have stated they are both! You are really doing a disservice to these people. Or perhaps to yourself? I can't imagine why someone would back up these people so much, unless you are them, or are affiliated with them. Personally, as a person who works with rescue, I can tell you this breeder is nothing CLOSE to a rescue. More and more greeders trying to hide who they really are by saying they are rescuers. :thumbdown And btw, you don't get "certificates" for donating to legitimate rescue organizations. You get a receipt to write off on your taxes. |

I have spoken to the owner of Happy-Go-Lucky boutique store in Valley Fair mall before when I was shopping there. She is NOT the same person who sells the puppy in the store. I have seen them both, they are different people! If I remembered correctly, the owner was an Asian lady and the seller was a Caucasian lady. However, next time I see her, I will ask her about it. I know the lady owns several westies, which is why the logo for the store is a westie (Happy Go Lucky Dog Boutique). |
After never hearing from dandi again, we sent his papers and requested vet verification of medication treatment costs and never heard from him again. I sent papers and money but no response. We have one of the loveliest private small kennels anywhere. to build, license and carry permits you must be inspected twice em monthly. A minimum investment is about $100. grand. We passionately try to help all animals and do a twice e yearly rescue only because so many people know we adore our dogs and dump on us. I hold a USDA permit because ANYONE who sell or transports or exhibits even 1 animal must carry this permit legally to hold a business lic. All those BYB selling even 1 puppy behind closed doors is actually illegal. they sell to strangers everyday. I show my dogs in the light of everyone. I share valuable info on buying, training, keeping. I am an expert and consult many people before they buy from other breeders. I exhibit and take months to sell each litter that takes me at least two years to start and a year to plan. I take weeks showing, meeting people and helping my friends in several town s in their businesses. I take my pups anytime I am able to where ever i work and I socialize them after people sanitize. they belong to me and I help bring people into my dear longtime friends businesses. Jsy ask anyone of them and you will get told really quickly that I am not like anyone in this business and the labels do not apply to us as people think. We think outside the box and try to do the very very best service to our friends and animals..god bless. Hope this helps you all understand something positive about who we are. If you care to ask..feel free to just contact me personally if you ever need advise or help. I am an expert in dog behavior and kennel management, animal science. |

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...tines-day.html And this one, where you seem to have knowledge regarding breeding: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...s-opinion.html And Collier Ranch isn't just a breeder, they are also, in their own words, a "USDA class B broker." Just lovely! Hey, I've got the flu right now, so sitting at the computer for short periods is really all I can do. |
 thanks for helping her out its so awful the breeder is acting this way and now demanding the puppy back go figure. Its nice to see wonderful breeders out there offering support :) Quote:

 I am a huge fan of steam cleaning and have multiple steamers. I used mine ever so much more when my hubby was fighting cancer but it works..he never got a cold and I'd steam clean everything Quote:

 well I read a post just under yours and why don't you just be a responsible breeder for once instead of trying to show the greeder you are. One thing you will learn fast here is the yorkie community is very tight and word of mouth via the internet travels fast. Why don't you stand up for what is truly right for once this poor lady has gone through hell with her new puppy that should be a time of joy. I guess my patience string is a tad short as of late sorry everyone for my long winded soap box. It just rubs me the wrong way since I have a true rescue who would have been dead the next time some greeder tried to breed her again at 3.6lbs and luckily she is in my hands and safe from this awful life. It sure takes nerve to promote your business at a time like this as someone else for the might $$$ and think we are all stupid too. Gosh I guess they don't figure that some of us actually make our money in the computer related field. hugs everyone I will go put myself in the corner on timeout! Quote:

I thought you were pretty amazing in figuring out that that wasn't the OP. I can't figure out what it was that you said that was in need of deleting!?!?!?! |

Someone else saw the different names....I just put it together when the second one started vouching for the breeder. Originally I was trying to figure out why someone had two IDs. |

1) This KELLY LADY Did not send us our papers until almost 4 MONTHS AFTER we took Lola home 2) THE PAPERS SHE SENT US WERE FOR THE COMPLETELY WRONG DOG, A DOG BORN IN AUGUST OF 2008 WHEREAS LOLA WAS "BORN" ON 4/20/2010 ACCORDING TO WHAT KELLY HAD TOLD US AT HAPPY-GO-LUCKY 3) She NEVER and I repeat NEVER sent us money in ANY SHAPE, WAY, OR FORM. i really apologize for the caps lock but this Kelly lady is really going out of control. No one, and I repeat NO ONE should ever buy a puppy from her. This is specific to those in the Bay Area (SHE SELLS DOGS ONLINE AND AT THE HAPPY-GO-LUCKY BOUTIQUE @ THE GREAT MALL IN MILPITAS). She says a lot of outrageous technical terms in regards to certain things to make it sound all fancy when at the end of the day, she really doesn't know what the hell she is talking about. She gives shots and prescription medication to her own puppies without a practicing medical license (which is hugely illegal btw). she claimed to that over the phone when I asked her why my puppy came with giardia and coccidiosis and she vehemently responded that there is no way in hell it came from her house because she give all of her dogs vaccination shots before they're sold... but enough of the specific details. all in all, Kelly and collier ranch should be avoided at all costs when looking to purchase a wonderful yorkshire terrier puppy. and i scoff at the fact that she "shows" these dogs. there were a bunch of little kids picking up the puppies and handling them in the most scary/risky ways. and no, they didn't sanitize SH!T before they touched the pups. because I didn't either when I picked up Lola... I'll tell you now that after having Lola in our family, she is really nothing but a bundle of joy. CLIFF NOTES: AVOID COLLIER RANCH/KELLY/THE DOGS THAT SHE SELLS INFRONT OF HAPPY-GO-LUCKY BOUTIQUE |

She was advising someone on another thread last night to self medicate a pup...sickening. Thanks for the information! LOVE the Cliff Notes......rofl |
Collier Ranch Yorkies | Facebook This is a link to their Facebook account that even talks about the Pet boutique. But it looks like the boutique is no longer allowing them to show dogs in their store. |
well done ladyjane :) |
I think last night it was slow and I tried to post a few times and it didn't post or locked up. then I posted it and picked up two quotes at once which I wanted to respond to separately. The post I posted after saying that I wanted to post separately for those quotes didn't show up so I'm sure its not anything you said that was bad that didn't show up...just a little burp in the system. |
