Just seeing this too. Connie, I am so sorry that both you and little Faith are having to go through this. I will keep you both in my prayers.

A few years back, Toto began to exhibit the same symptoms and after testing & xrays, our vet found that she had 5 seperated ribs. Sadly, it was due to the fact that we had allowed her to gain too much weight and her tiny bone structure just couldn't support it. We felt so bad ... had to feed her less and she still acts like we are starving her!

She is still a little overweight but has had no more incidents. I'm not suggesting that little Faith has the same problem, just had a "flashback" when I read her symptoms!

Faith continues to improve! PTL! I have been giving her very small amounts of chicken and rice throughout the day and sometimes she shakes after it and sometimes she doesn't. She is sleeping a lot and likes me to hold her. Now and then she gets up and gets playful and I can see that little smile on her face again! I hope tomorrow is even better. At least I feel confident that she will recover! Thanks everyone for your well wishes and prayers!

Praying for continuing recovery for you both... Isn't it sweet how they want to cuddle when they're not feeling well? I think the extra warm from our bodies helps them heal... and vice-versa!
