New Boy struggling to ppop

I hope he continues to improve... I'm thinking maybe do an xray and have a look... I'm assuming he has not vomited... And , yes, it's very hard to have to leave them in the hospital when they are so young. But it is the best thing to have him getting fluids and food.

If you can't take him to work with you, do you know anyone that could take care of him while you at work? He's really way too young to be left by himself, especially with a tendency to go hypoglycemic (which is normal for younger puppies)... he'll need more frequent feedings and someone checking to be sure he's eating enough...

Praying that all goes well and he makes a speedy recovery...

Guys - I just want to tell you, my boy is over 3 years old now, outgrown his problem an gives the great Dane a go or two at pooping and playing!!!

He is the love of my life! He has been through rough times, as someone stabbed him through our gate with a knife!! Cutting his little body to pieces! How on God's earth he made it, the Vet even says its a miracle!! We found the purpotraitor and it seems like some sindicate was targeting our house as the Great Dane was stabbed 3 weeks prior to Danny, with a wire!!!

But that was just over a year ago, and Daniel is kept in the house now when we are not at home.

I hope I was of helped to Shannon who sent me a private message regarding the rectal stricture!!

so glad your danny boy is doing great! gosh how horrible to have someone stabbing your dogs in our own yard. so glad they are ok.

Soooo glad to hear that your dogs are doing well. How disgusting that they were both knifed though. What sick people there are in this world!
