Just wanted to thank everyone for the info and good wishes. Luci has been fine, the episode only lasted for a day and she returned to normal before we brought her to the vet. She has been her cute little self since. Keeping our fingers crossed

I am assuming that she has had bile aid test done to rule out Liver shunt.
I would suggest you find a GREAT Chriopactor and try that, you would be suprised what you an help by a little thump here and there.
I started taking a 4 month old of mine after she got Valley Fever in her bones and was to a point that she could not walk and would not eat. I figured It couldn't hurt and who knows it might help. After her first VERY painful treatment she came home running and took a huge drink of water and actually ate on her own that night. We have had a few follow up treatments and she turned 1 year old today and still is on Valley Fever Meds but is running an playing and if you didn't know she is sick you would think she was the healthiest dog on the earth. Since that day she has has NO pain!

Do you notice or can you remember what she did prior to the onset of symptoms each time? Was she running or playing exceptionally hard the day before or anything like that? Do you have stairs that she climbs?

I had an older dog that would hurt her back every so often, then she'd be real quiet and lethargic for 3 days, go off her feed, and then she'd be fine. She had 2-4 episodes a year like that, and actually started happening less often as she got older.
