| Jada isn't feeling good Jada has been feeling bad for a little over a week now. We went to vet last Wed. for Bogie's annual wellness and Rabies vac. Jada had been scratching at her ears a little bit, so I had doc look at her. She and Bogie both had yeast infections in their ears. They have both been on the Tresaderm ear drops. Bogie is getting better, but Jada has been itching so bad around her head, I have put an E-collar on her because she scratched so much Monday that her whole top of her head was one big mat when I came in from work that evening. We go back this morning to the vet and I am praying he can tell me what is wrong. Could the yeast infection in her ears have spread out to her head? Our vet said we caught the ear infection very early. Just pray for my baby girl, she is so uncomfortable and It is killing me to see her in such misery. Also I have been giving her Benadryl since last Wed. and it has not helped her itching at all.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm sorry Michelle that Jada is feeling so miserable with the itching. You could try an oatmeal bath to try and relieve some of the skin discomfort. IDK if it is the problem with her head, but they can get yeast infections on their faces. We've been battling itchy flea bites here this summer.....they seem worse this year than in years past

| Sorry Jada isn't feeling well. I know that when Hot Rod recently had his ear infection he was mashing his head on the carpet. I think it is like them scratching their ear. He seems to have stopped doing it once it cleared up. Hopefully this will be the same for Jada.

| I will post an update this afternoon. Jada's morning appt was cancelled. The vet that was working at the office next to our house had a death in his family. They rescheduled her for this afternoon at the office they have about 20 miles away. Luckily the vet that she usually sees is at that office today. Thank you everyone for your prayers and thoughts.

| Was her itching worse after the application of Tresaderm? Hope Jada will feel better soon. Read more: What is Tresaderm for Dogs? | eHow.com From eHow: Rarely, dogs can be sensitive to neomycin (an ingredient in Tresaderm) and will show redness and swelling of the treated area for a day or two.
