Oh My Gosh! |
Oh, my! I hope she continues to improve.:) |
Daisy! Go easy on your mommy. Joyce, you could write a book with all these stories. I'm so happy to hear she is doing better little by little -- that diet and meds are kicking in. Stay strong! |
I'm so glad she's feeling a bit better today. That was really something she tried to pull last night! You must have been terrified. |
I know it isn't really funny to you Joyce. But the dashing around the yard, what a sight that must have been....sans the near miss with the car. Easy does it Daisy! But I would be telling a non-truth if I said this update didn't make me laugh and smile. I hope this is her turning point! Continued prayers! :) |
How's Daisy doing now!!!! Keeping Daisy in my thoughts & prayers. |
Daisy is doing better today she is not isolating herself and even played a little with Pixie. She has had a little more energy than yesterday;) I am praying for her: yesterday I was so worried about her and I layed on the floor next to her and I was loving on her and I told her how much I loved her and that I didn't want her to suffer, but I wasn't ready to lose her and if she could just fight this for me it would make me so happy, but if the fight was too tough then I understood but I was gonna miss her more than anything in the world. I was crying and she picked her head up and started licking me for about 3 minutes licking my tears off. I prayed like crazy all day yesterday;) Please pray that she continues to recover;) thanks.... |

Praying that Daisy continues to recover!!! She knows how much you love her. She is so precious and I hope she continues to get better.! |
I just read this whole ordeal...what a rollercoaster of a time. I will add my prayers for Daisy to totally recover. Give her gentle hugs from me. Dyan, Mom to Bentley and Baxter |
so happy she is doing better today :) Keep going strong daisy girl |
I'm so glad that Daisy seems to be doing better! Bless her sweet heart! I'm very thankful that she wasn't run over last night when she got out. What a scare. I remember once when Maddie and Libby got out...ran into the street and our neighbor man stopped traffic to keep them safe. I hope you all have a great weekend with nothing but good thing in your lives! *HUG* |
something interesting I was oing through Daisy's papers bc I keep all of them and I was reading her discharge papers again:eek: I just think I was in such a state of confusion I over looked this. Diagnosis: Doxycycline liver hepatopathy (presumed) xrays reveal a small liver, bloodwork reveals severe elevation to the liver values as well as cholesterol. ALT and GGT are mildly improved.ALP is largely underchanged. Vomiting and apetitie have improved with supportive care included intravenous fluids, antacids/milkthistle/antioxidantsuppliment,ampicillin,flagyl,anti-nauseamedications, vitmamin k1 and narcotic pain relief. Abdominal ultrasound by specialist rules out an overt liver or pancreatic tumor. The mesentric lymph nodes are normal. The adrenal glands are normal lowering the clincial suspicion for concurrent cushing's disease. Any Opinions on this? |

She may not have Cushings at all, as you know, but you know what I'm saying...as you/me have messaged about :). |
