I wish there was an update - feel so bad for her-- I just hate it when people try to do the right thing and something bad happens just does not seem fair | |

| i was in a similiar situation three months ago. Ultimately we decided to bust out the credit card we try not to use. Pete was diagnosed with what we believe is NME and is currently taking Prednisone for inflammation, Zonisamide for seizures and just this week started Lomustine (chemo). So far i think he's been slowly getting better, that cranky little boy's starting to come back lol... he's not called yorkie police for nothin! Just an idea but if you truly cannot afford the testing and your neurologist is pretty sure that its neurological would you or your doc consider treatment without an mri. My neurologist understood we might not be able to afford the testing and had originally given us the option to start treating it as if we knew it was encephalitis. Due to his breed and symptoms our neurologist was pretty sure the results would say as much... which unfortunately they did. i hope your little one starts to feel better soon and i Giant Hug for you! |
