Don't worry too much, I'm sure the vet will check him out and tell you exactly whats wrong. Hopefully it's just some bruising and not something more damaging. I'm sure he has probably learned from this, seems that they are like kids in they won't stop doing something (touching the hot stove) until they get hurt. Mine decided to grab ahold of the towel I was using to dry my hair, I didn't see him grab a hold of it so when I went to flip it back, well, he went up in the air, I dove to try to grab him but he hit the floor on his back. We went to the vet the next day even though he wasnt showing any signs of pain and got checked out and he was just fine. Since then he hasn't gone after a towel, but doesn't show any fear of them either. I'm glad he knows not to grab one now, but hate the way he had to learn. I was really worried as well, but it was a relief to know he was okay. I hope your baby is okay as well. Let us know when you get back from the vet. |
In Your Avatar picture Gizmo is sitting on top of the seat of your truck. You cant allow him to do this. Yorkies are frearless but very fragile. They are different from any dog I have owend. |
any update yet ???? |
Praying for your little puppy. Hoping you were able to get to the vet to have your puppy checked over. Please update when you are able. |

I just picked up a four month old puppy tonight that jumped or fell off of a seat in a car and tore his ACL. His owner could not afford the surgery that was estimated at $2,000 so she surrendered him. This is SO common that yorkies are surrendered due to injuries from falls. That is IF they survive. As you said, a fall can be fatal. People really do not realize how fragile these pupsters are. |
